Default 94z egr delete

I bought pacesetter race style lt headers. I have the block off plates for egr. My question is will I still have air afterwards or does it all come off? Really want to keep air since it's a street car

Are you referring to the A.I.R. system or something else? EGR and AIR are completely separate systems on 94-97s.

The AIR System puts fresh air from the Intake into the Exhaust to help the Cat burn the extra crap off.

No. EGR or AIR delete do not increase performance (except for the small loss of weight).

totally agree, but !EGR cleans up the bay and !AIR makes working on the motor easier (at least on a 2000 ls1)

Well, we're talking about LT1s. I don't see how getting rid of an EGR valve that is so far behind the intake manifold you can't even see it, cleans up anything.

The AIR system only operates for a few minutes on cold startup. It should not adversely affect anything but maybe cat longevity. A Technical Service Bulletin actually enabled legal deletion of the AIR system on the B-body cars.
