Default obd1/2 diagnostic scanners ?

pretty sure i have the retarded '95 obd1 computer and obd2 connector( http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d7...4/DSCF0106.jpg )

what scanner's are available to find out why the 'service engine soon' light is coming from?

i had purchased this but returned it > http://www.canobd2.com/Products/Tool...d89a9363e13c77

i followed all the directions which was pretty much plug it in, turn key to 'on' and push the green button but after 5 attempts the scanner wasn't talking to the car

I read of people using the Actron CP9145 on their 95s.

I have always used an OBD1 scanner with the jumper trick from shbox's web site...

www.tunerpro.com

You can use version v5 beta and the proper cable from here http://www.aldlcable.com/sc/details.asp?item=aldlobd2u

You can also use freescan (sucks) and TTS Datamaster (expensive)
