Header install problem.

Header install problem. I installed on my 1995 Fire bird a set of long tube pace setter headers quick trip. I also have a pace setter ory pipe. The installation process took a lot longer then I thought but I managed to get it done. The problem is that the header is hitting the floor of the car and I'm not too sure on what to do.
If I could heat up the header pipe and slightly bend it down would that work?
Also is there a tuner that can delete the o2 sensors and if not where can I order new o2 sensors long enough to work with my headers

Sounds like you may have an issue with motor mounts? Did you replace them when doing header install? Do both headers hit or just one? You need o'2 extensions Thunder Racing should have them, I believe they are a sponser here. There is always the possibility one of the headers is made wrong!
You need the primary O2's you just need to get extensions and you can have the rear O2's deleated or wait and live with the CEL. As for it hitting the floor board I have no idea man but heating it and tring to bend it is not as easy as it sounds. Where is it hitting?

I think my passenger side mount might be bad then because I think it's only the passenger side header that hits the floorboard. When it sits an idles you can hear a slight vibration then when I hit the throttle it vibrates and hits excessively. Also when turning and giving some throttle it hits and makes an ugly noise.
Looks thats your issue and isnt all that common. My mounts are really old but i got lucky on my install so far as mine isnt hitting but i can hear a slight rattle which i can only assume is the headshield its slightly touching. I havent really got on it yet cuz its still open y pipe till i get my exhaust finished so its really loud lol and dont want to get a ticket before the season starts up.

Soak the **** out of the bolts on the mounts as they will be rusty and a bitch to get off if never done before. Once there out grind off the rivets on the clamshell install the mounts use the hardware and reverse the process. Kind of a pain and something that would have been way easier before you installed the headers but thats alright nothing is ever easy to work on for a LT1.

Kind of a pain and something that would have been way easier before you installed the headers but thats alright nothing is ever easy to work on for a LT1.
You might have to tkae the headers off to give you room if you don't want to fight around them. You can put a jack under the oil pan to hold it and work on one side at a time

No it backwards. If the passenger was bad it would hit on the driver side, the driver side is the one that takes all the load and if it is bad then the passenger side will hit. If you have not found where it is hitting it more than likley hitting the K member or like others have said the heat shields. New mounts can fix this too.
summit carries them, I used polly when I did mine. Polly mounts usually require you to take the old mount out and reuse the metal parts of the mounts. Mine came with instructions and harware to do this with. You will need a drill and a good drill bit to drill out the rivits
