Does anyone have this, and if so what do you think about it?

for what little it costs it is worth it if you have an obnoxious exhaust. it doesnt allow as much ignition retard as the standard lt1 module so you will pick up a few ponies from it, just be careful if you decide to spray!!!! so keep the lt1 module just in case.

I have one. My car pulled a little harder after I put it in which leads me to believe I was getting a little false knock after my longtube install. The LT4 KM isnt as sensitive as the LT1 KM but still picks up true knock, however the LT4 KM is just a little insurance that you're not losing power from false knock created by headers or noisy rockers especially for the price.

I've had one in my '94 since '98. WELL worth it since I have a cam and comp pro magnum rockers. The cam thump and extra valve train noise was causing me to get up to 4 deg of KR. Popped that sucker in and the KR went away like magic. This was confirmed by before and after WOT runs with an Autoxray.

Can't remember how much it cost $60-80? ). Got a hookup thru Dal Slabaugh when he used to take care of folks from F-body.org.

Knock module is a worthwhile investment if you have any type of headers or cam/roller rocker upgrades. The stock module will pick up false knock with the above mods. Or you can desenistize the knock sensor with a series of resisters if you know the procedure. Either way will help eliminate false knock signals.

Jason Cromer won't bend you over on the shipping like GM parts direct. I know I paid less then $37 through JC.

By the time you buy one and pay shipping, you can get one at the dealler for less, most of the time. I can say, it is well worth it. even with stock exhaust and cam/rockers. I do live monitoring and captures on the track on my car and many others. with stock KM's it will pull 2-8* timing during a run. With the LT4 KM. it won't pull none or maybe 2* if someone has alot of cam with headers. and I have seen .2 gain with just that change.
