Only if you return her calls.

Yeh there are some cocky people around here with nice rides. It's still rare to see any Lambo's or Ferrari's but there are a lot of STI's and EVO's. I know a few guys I plan on leaving at the starting line with their AWD.

I reused the lt1 block aside from the machining and clearancing for the stroker.

I figured people would want to know how much I spent. It's a long list that might take me awhile to add up. I'll try to do that when I have some time. I did save a lot of money on parts from people selling new stuff in the classifieds.

I'm waiting on new parts in the mail at the moment. Just bought a new transmission cooler with a fan and thermostat to mount under the car. I used to have my cooler in the front but the exhaust runs along the transmission cooler lines so I'm relocating it. And for some reason my -6AN fuel lines cracked on the seat surface causing a leak so I'm getting new hose ends. Lets see.. an air filter, wastegate springs, BOV spring, wastegate flange, and different silicone coupler for the throttle body. Other than that, there's only a few things left to buy.

Ahhh this is such a pain to dig up old receipts. These prices could be inaccurate for all I know since it's been drawn out so long.

$4,240- All the short block parts and machine shop labor.
$1,200- Top end parts (cam, rockers, liters, etc.)
Turbo- $1,000
Hotparts- 1,800
Intercooler- $180
2.5inch & 3inch intercooler piping- $210
TB-$350
Tial 44mm wastegate- $260
Tial 50mm BOV- $200
Hallman boost controller- $120
2-bar map sensor- $50
Injectors- $300
Fuel regulator- $170
Turbo blanket- $211
Hot parts ceramic coated- $400
$310- AN fittings, hoses, oil feed lines, (all turbo related)
Catch can- $105
ARP torque converter bolts- $20
ARP flexplate bolts- $15
ARP accessory bolts- $125
Poly engine and trans mount- $75
Plugs and wires- $75
MSD coil- $45
Optispark-$250
Trans cooler- $165
AEM 4inch air filter- $55
AEM wideband- $220
AEM Boost gauge -$145
AEM Fuel pressure - $200
Spal radiator fans - $160
Speed-density tune- quoted $700
Parts to rebuild trans- $500
$2,500-$3,000 for rear end (can't remember how much exactly)
$500- Miscellaneous stuff from parts store (oils, bolts, gaskets, etc)

I'm sure there is more I forgot, but that gives you a general idea. You have to remember some of those items were good deals I found and others were retail prices. I'm exhausted...

Yeah I was considering selling my car for an LS1 until I realized I could barely get more than what I paid for it and have paid around ~$5000 for full bolt ons, new tranny, stall, shift kit, cooler, alternator, starter, battery, suspension parts, etc. etc.

Don't add up the receipts. It tends to hurt... bad...

But yeah, the finished product should make you more than happy

Thanks for the support.

I got some parts in the mail so I messed around with it a little tonight. I put on a longer 4inch to 3inch coupler for the TB because the other one was too short, causing the 3inch side to be oval. Now I just need to find the right size rubber grommet to install the intake air temp sensor.

The driveshaft is kicking my *** though. It's such a tight fit putting the u-joint in the pinion yoke. I probably just need someone to hammer it in while I hold the u-joint steady.

Damn son. That looks like a quality list of parts. What made you use 1.5 ratio rockers? What do your hotparts look like with the twin setup? If you haven't already, make sure you get an aftermarket pan for the high volume oil pump.

Build is looking real good. Congrats. Do you plan on doing any modifications to the bumper, other than deleting the foglights to help get more air to the intercooler?
