Default crank reluctor?

idk if thats what it is called but it is the ring that goess on the crank snout between the crank sproket and the timing cover. this piece somehow spun on the key of the crank and tore it up a little. does anyone know where i can get a new one?

You can have it tuned out if you didn't already know

Im sure I have a few out of motors around here if you need one, they wont be new though.

i didnt know u could have them tuned out, does it cause any problems? are there any benifits to it? do i tell them to tune out the crank sensor?

It only is used for detecting misfires and setting the SES light - nothing more.

Just have it tuned out.

thanks corey i may hit you up on that if its a problem to tune it out. i also wanted to ask you what the max rpm is for the rotating assembly you guys sent me. it was the scat kit with the arp 2000 rod bolt upgrade with the cp flat tops/chromoly rings.

ok thanks for helpin me out, i didnt think it was that useful. im guessing this may have been causing my car to shut off sometimes under hard throttle. do u think that could cause it?

Nah...it doesn't have anything to do with how the car runs. It's only used for detecting misfires.
