Default Wich line to vent before everything explode(fuel line relocation)

Hello everyone, yesterday was the first real drive(140miles) i did with my lovely mistress(my car). Everything went near perfection the new lsx air box with the slp lid and ftra change the throttle response and you can fell that over 5000rpm the car is really pulling great...

but

I did the fuel line relocation last week, everything is fine, looks good and no leak what so ever.It also delete the EVAP by capping the hard line under the car..I realise during my trip that my car was smelling gas more and more.So i pull over, check for some leaks and saw nothing wrong.I went back on the road but i was worried by the smell.

When i got back home i pop the trunk up and reinstall my t-top.I then realise that the gas smell was coming near the gas cap.I took it off and i couldnt believe what i heard and feel.

When i took it off(the gas cap) i heard a very huge sound of pressure relief and i even could feel the pressure getting out of the tank on my hand.It was very loud and kinda scary.

So could someone tell me wich line i need to vent(put a breather on it).I think that its in the driver side rear fender... with some clear info or even better with some good pics before everything explode

Thanks

If you had no gas smell before the capping and now have a gas smell, uncap what you capped.

Why'd you do that anyway?

You do know what is the relocation of the fuel line is right...

When you do this mod you have to delete the evap.So you have to cap the hard line under the car just side of the fuel and fuel return line.

By deleting the evap and capping the hard line, from what i ve read, you need to put a breather on a line so the tank could breathe and no pressure would built in the tank.

So the question remain:

-Wich line do i need to put a breather on?

The one coming out of the gas tank into the EVAP canister. Take out the canister and the hard line going down the vehicle. I cut the line short and have a breather on it hanging right next to the gas tank.

The line coming out the the tank will need to be either plugged with a cap and you can drill a small hole in it to vent. Or you can put a filter on the end of it. Get rid of the rest of it.
