1997 A.I.R. removal

1997 A.I.R. removal On my friend's header install on his 94 I was able to cap his headers for now with M22 drain plugs, but on my headers the threads are on the outside of the AIR fittings instead of the threads being on the inside. Is there anywhere I can find caps to cap off my AIR so I can remove it? Does anyone have a complete writeup for removing the AIR off of LT1 cars, YES I have searched but most just pop up for LS1. I;ve taken off the AIR pump before with the bracket, but I didn't touch any of the piping or anything. Thanks, I wanna get rid of that pump and those pipes. I have Pacesetter coated headers, so some caps that would match that would be great!
On my 97 I cut the tubes to get the fitting off then got a peice of bar stock and cut what looked like a real thick quarter and put it in the hole of the fitting and weld it in the jud screwed the the fittings back on I'll take some pics tomorow and post em
