mystery cam...what cam is this? adv dur: int: 277 exh: 283
valve lift: int:.525 exh: .534
lobe sep: 111.0
dur @ .050: int: 227 exh: 233
friend got this cam with his t/a he bought....idiot before him ran it with 160*, loudmouth and a gutted airbox as his only mods lol...were wondering what cam this is, no other paperwork other than cam specs. just wondering if anyone can figure out what cam this is or if its a custom grind. thanks

old thread from 2003. Says that grind (2nd one listed among several) was a "fill in the blanks" spec of the Comp Cams Extreme Energy series cams.
That's the only place i've been able to find that specific grind

thats weird.... sounds identical to my last cam i had. it was a comp cam custom grind, 227/233 and almost positive same lift on a 1.5 rocker. even the lsa is the same. the cam is a COMBINATION MOTORSPORTS CAM, they are no longer in business but were a very good company/shop back in the day. its designed to be a n/a cam.
where in wisonsin are you located?? i sold all my old stuff to a guy in northern illinois. maybe you got that from him. when i sold him my stuff he was talking about cam'n the car and selling it eventually. thats weird i just happen to run up on this. was his name mike?? im 75% sure that was his name. but i sold my stuff to him around winter. he said he was going to do all the work and sell it in the spring.
