msd part # 8876 < thats the plug and play harness for lt1's

If I get someone over with wiring skills Ill have them hook it up to the radio controls on the factory wheel, or maybe get a new aftermarket wheel with a built in momentary button. Just dont like the zip ties that hold it on now.

Actually there are two part numbers for lt1s. 8876 is for the DUAL connector coil that 92-95 has (i think that's the years) 8877 is for the single connector coil used in the later years.

lol ok i thoguth you were talking about the box itself being temporarily mounted there. im a dumbass having it on the wheel is real nice tho. i wont be able to do that without something fairly custom with my grant wheel tho...

The box stays where its at. Drill a hole in the grant wheel for a momentary button.

i dont think you would need one. but it couldnt hurt. if you have one already tho its fine.

i would if my wheel was a POS but its just to pretty hahah ill figure it out one day. i have to much other stuff going on to worry about that as of yet. but thanks!

Thanks! the 6AL-2 is alittle bit smaller then the old 6AL and when i saw that spot i figured itd be perfect for it. and sure enough it was lol

that would look really sharp and would be the perfect spot but unfortunately my grant wheel doesnt have any holes in it lol

I have that same wheel in my 95 Trans Am and I have my momentary button in the same hole...works really well and looks good!
