Default Can I Change The Lt1 Induction

I just bought a 93 z28 but i am not happy with the induction...my question is can I put a ram air kit like the newer Ls1 or is there another type of induction i should think about ....Im new on this whole performance thing so please bare with me...thank u

You have many options at this point. Ram air is possible but costly(new hood+airbox), there are many aftermarket CAI setups that offer close to if not better performance then the ram air setup.

Definitely go with a CAI. A ramair is really just overpriced and gimmicky. A cold air intake like an SLP, K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit, or Moroso CAI will be good.

so ramair should be out of the question...cool i will look into the other options you both listed...thanks for the feed back...oh almost forgot about how much hp, torque and weight does my 93 z28, it has and exhaust but no headers...it doesnt have any type of heavy extras like audio or chrome wheels...so if u could give me an estimate...thanks

stock in 93 those lt1's put out 275bhp and 325 lb-ft, just an exhaust wont add much maybe 5-10 hp, nothing major without other work.

I haven't run across one 93 that wasn't underrated and exhaust is huge on these cars cause they are really choked up from the factory. Thats why you see guys picking up 30 hp with headers and catback.
