Default Difference b/t LT1 and LS1 y-pipe

What are the main differences between LT1 and LS1 y-pipes in a long-tube header application? I assume the header collectors sit at different angles?

I will be going LSx in a few years and dont want to drop $ on a quality y-pipe if I will have to purchase another after the swap.

you're right, it's the angle. You'll have to cut and weld when switching over.

I reworked my LT1 y-pipe when I put the LS1 in. The driver side collector points outward farther and the headers are about 5" shorter than the LT1 headers. It made for a very sharp bend on the driver side so if I were to do it again I would use the LS1 y-pipe. These were Pacesetter LT's

I'm using an LS1 Y and Pacesetter headers, it was actually pretty damn close but the angle is a little off, nothing a little cutting and welding won't fix.
