Default ls1 brake question

Hey guys. Quick question. Are the ls1 front brakes supposed to have shims. Pulling the motor and it would be a perfect time to swap them on.

I have never seen shims on an Ls1 brake set up,mine has been on for a few years and i have done several conversions.... Where do you see these shims?

the entire spindle assembly goes on as is.

The only trouble is with the brake lines. The ls1 lines are kind of short. There are several approaches to this, I used some c5 lines made with the lt1 style connector.

i was just making sure there were no shims. I have everything from a ls1 car. Since I am pulling the motor they might as well go on.
