Default what do do about oil pressure sensor

Well my oil pressure sensor hasn't worked since i put a new one in after doing Long tubes this winter. Today i see its leaking oil from the port now. Its in such a PITA spot to work on too, and its touching the header so the wire might be frying. What i was wondering was can i convert it behind the intake manifold like the newer years? I though i read you could but does anyone sell a kit or have a list of all the parts? I know on shbox it shows the stuff like 2 angle fittings. It would be nice if there was a conversion kit, i guess i wouldn't know what to do with the wire or how to move it.

I think it's going to be harder to mount it back there to be honest. Mounting on the block is much easier to access. I'd just fix it where it is now.

If it's leaking, just use some teflon tape and re-seal it. Then fix the burning harness. That's much less labor-intensive than relocating the sensor.

ok the problem im having is its just such a bitch to get to. i can like get a wrench on it but theres like no room to move, i guess ill have to tear some **** out of the way header, and steering shaft and stuff.

but u cant just get the 2 fittings for the rear there and put the sensor on?
or does the 94 have a port on the back of the intake for it(the lt1s that came with it down by the filter).

Have you even seen how difficult it is to remove/install the OP sensor on the back of the intake manifold? **** sucks! You need a special OP socket to get it off. I'd still make what you have work.

And how does your 94 have the factory sensor above the filter? Only 93s had that feature.

If the steering shaft is in the way, that's easy to remove. It's 2 bolts and some penetrating oil.

All of the blocks have a fitting back there for the sensor (AFAIK). I'd assume the 93s have a 1/8" NPT plug.

ok, maybe ill try and make it work, i know its a bitch working on the back of the intake manifold there but i figure i could pull the intake manifold and it would open up nicely. the problem down there is the header is also in the way and i got it welded so if i need to move it a lot ill have to cut it.

as for the location early 94s have them down there where the 93s do.
