from my moroso cai to my ws6 rad support and lg lid, I picked up over 2 tenths and a tad over 2 mph, not to mention the intsant throttle response and the new found fun in first and second gear. With the cai, first gear I could mat it any where and it not spin, now, with the lid conversion, I can mat it anywhere, and I mean anywhere, from 1500-4500 in first gear, and it'll spin. Also, the exhaust note seemed to change a slight bit.

So basically you need the LS lid, filter, and bellows? Can you put the lid right on the LT radiator support and just cut the hood for clearance? Do you put the MAF right in front of the TB? Does all the existing wiring work when converting this? Also, does anyone have any dyno numbers from this? I know it is a lot of simple questions, but I did not realize this mod had such good results

When you guys say radiator support, do you mean the plastic lower half of the airbox that the lid clamps to? Also, is a 98-99 lid better than a 00-02 because of the hole location for the IATS?

yes the radiator support is the lower half that the lid clamps to, and I believe that the placement of the IAT sensor is the same on both, I believe what's different is the AIR connector to the driver's side of the lid. I think that the later ones either have a rubber plug in the hole, or no hole at all. This would be the one you would want to use.

so the 00-02 is the better lid to use? and just for clarification, the WS6 support/lower air box will sit higher on the core support than a camaro one will? Does anyone have a picture of the core support prior to installing the lower air box and after installing it but without the lid on? I'm just trying to get an idea of where the airfilter is located in relation to the radiator/fans.
