Just get some Opti-men, I take that as a multi. Has 2500% of B6 and 1665% of B12 along other stuff I havent heard of lol

I used to go to a chiropractor once a week to straighten my spine out. Plus it feels so good after and I get sleepy as hell.

I don't use any belts or braces, I guess that's the problem. Another weak point are my knees. I guess it didn't help that I went through a phase as a kid where I would jump off my roof for fun. In hindsight everything is 20/20 lol

I walked in my garage yesterday with a new SMJ ABS delete and LL in hand. Looked at the car for about a minute then walked out. I never even popped the hood. lol

Really just depends on the person. I don't plan on feeling beat up and old for at least 20 more years though.

I think its funny when i hear people under 35 talk about how old they are.... =)

I feel fortunate since i have been throught hell (USMC for years , powerlifted since i was 15, played rugby, Football, and multiple bone breaks).
But i really do feel fine, I eat good , take vitamins, workout regularly, and run 3 miles at leas 2 times a week.

But...

I went to work on my car last week and fell asleep on the floor under my car..........

I'm the same way, but I don't think it has to do with getting older. I'm only 27, but I find that it's hard for me to get started on bigger projects these days. Has more to do with not living at home anymore and having to drive to have access to the garage instead of just walking out the door.

I am the same way. I have had my Impala SS for 11 years now. I has gone through 4 cam/head swaps, 3 going on 4 Motor builds, and 10 4L60E's. Yea I know should use a Turbo 400 but that's a different story. As of now I am waiting for my AI heads and cam 4 bolt splayed 385 to be completed. The car is in the garage with no drive train. And has been for months. I used to do motor swaps in a day and heads and cam in 1/2 to 3/4 of a day. but now it more about being maticulas and not getting in a hurry. I am going for a mid 10 sec car that weighs 4300 lbs. So I am taking my time and doing every thing right and not getting in any hurry. It will be done when its done. And being in my late 40's doesn't help either. Don't move like I used to.

Unfortunate circumstances such as getting older, priorities change to accomodate others that are important in your life. That is just the way it is!

If ever you had to drop the wrenches and pick up a toy to play with your kids you have done the right thing. I would not have changed or swapped that feeling for anything!

Soon after you return to the garage you will be slower moving however the thought process is more rational, clear. For me it has made me think things out better cause i now see myself leading by example.

Not at all. I do everything in my garage. I had Speedinc do my H/C the first time on the stock short block when I had cash and 0 spare time. Then I took it all apart and rebuilt the entire motor and everything else has been done at home alone. Even built the motor in my spare bedroom. lol Speedinc hooks me up with most my parts and does ALL my tuning still.
This is my Shop

I've been going to the chiropractor for years which is pretty helpful. I just went to a specialist the other day who said I should do spinal decompression on this rack like table they have to suck those bulging discs back in place. only problem is my health ins. doesn't cover it and I would need to go at least 3times a week for 8weeks for it to be effective at $100bucks a session!!!
he also told me hanging up side down would be useless..

PFFFFFT, that stuff will all buff out. When you've sparred with Chuck Norris and Quinton Jackson at the same time, had your head blown off playing catch with rpg's (litterally) and leaped tall buildings with a single bound, then , wellll.......you're right, you just don't have the motivation anymore.

At least you guys know how to work on cars. I was one of those who came out of the womb not physically capable of working on cars. Lacking the patience is my biggest problem.

I'm about 20, feeling healthy, can't work on the car to save my life, but I sure as hell enjoy driving it

I really feel bad for all of you younger guys. Cars today are more complicated, and FAR more cramped under the hood that they used to be. At least when I was starting out, back in the late 60s, you could pop the hood, see the enging clearly, and in most cases, even see some of the ground, just by looking past the engine.

It made it far easier to learn "the basics" because you could actually see the parts you wanted to work on, and easily "r&r" them without having to be a contortionist....
