Yea that is rare car...a friend of mine has a 98 firebird WS6 M6 I think i have only seen one other one...i guess its like your car only with a LS1 under the hood...

There was 524 Formula WS6s in 96, 12x red ones and even less W/ M6, hardtop & cloth cars

So I ripped mine apart. LOL

Mine is also a 1996 WS6 Formula. Manual, T-Tops with Leather. Not one part is stock. I was never a fan of #'s matching.

6 Speed Hurst from factory. My car is actually 1 of 164 made from '95-'97 and 1 of 25 with the specific options.

my car is fully loaded leather interior t-top 6 speed...only 396 1997 LT1 SS had that combo...

6 speed here also, and I bet that the yellow formy is probably the rarest here so far, and damn, we have 3 of the 12x red 96 ws6 formys in this thread.

WOOO WOOO!!! Mine is build number 555 of all the WS6s ever made including TAs. You guys should call SLP and get your build numbers. They still have them for 96 but have nothing on the 97s.

I keep forgetting to call them, I'm curious about the build number. The car I just picked up is identical to yours except it has t-tops. I've had 3 LT1 six speed cars (black '96 Formula, blue '95 Formula, red '96 Formula WS6) and 1 LS1 six speed. Currently I'm down to one LT1 and one LS1 and a couple spare gearboxes handy, lol.

I should call to verify what SLP told me back in the 90's. They said mine was 2637, which is higher than all of the WS6 production???
