Honestly I'd go with the LS7 lifters. They are much cheaper (around $120) and work just as well.

Agreed, turned my car 6800rpm for 2 years. Never had lifter failure.

They are GM replacements for the stock lifters. Drop them in and go.

I was at the dealership here last week, and asked for the price of the LS7 lifters. They sell for 50$. Each.

Then I asked for an LT1, they had stock of them. 85$. Each.

You guys have it well. I am ordering a set when I convert my motor because I remember hearing a tick sometime before the opti died on me.

Are their dimensions the same as the stock LT1 lifters?

They are $50 each when you buy them individually. There is a part number for all 16 - 12499225. Summit carries them for $122.00 while GMPD carries them for $110.00, but rapes you on shipping.

Yes, they are the same as stock.

doing a lil searching now and the ls7 lifters are taller so you will need a shorter pushrod. so basically you need a pushrod checker so everything is all checked and in spec. someone correct me if i am wrong

Because you have a fairly aggressive build I would measure regardless of the lifters you use. You'll also find out that the first batch of the LS7s had a shallower cup - not so much the new batch. For someone taking a stock motor and putting in LS7s, measuring isn't necessary. But for your build, I would measure because you have head-work, new head gaskets, etc.
