changing a rear main?? what tool? i just put my motor together, and the rear main was leaking alot of oil out of it, pulled the tranny yesterday and rear main, how do i put the new rear main seal in correctly? i was told there is a tool, where could i find it? i dont want to do this again! any help would be appreciated guys.. thank you. the one must have been defective from felpro, because it was brand new.

The Fel Pro comes (or at least should) with a plastic cylinder about the same dia. as the crank journal and the seal is already on the cylinder. Just slip the plastic cylinder over the journal and push the new seal on and tap into place.
