Have a 95 z28 OBD-2 Port with a OBD-1 Computer. Want to hook up my scanmaster to a OBD-2 plug so it's a direct plug in. Are these color codes right?
Scanmaster RED wire to Orange wire(Plug)
Black wire to Black wire (plug)
White wire to Tan wire(plug)

Once again this is OBD-2 port with a OBD-1 pcm. Please let me know if I have the right hook-up

 

I am not sure about the colors but I just did the same thing on my 95. I soldered the Scanmaster wires to an OBDII plug so I could switch between it and my ALDL cable for my laptop. Looking at the OBDII style connector under the dash I wired it up in the following way:

1. Black wire - Pin 5
2. White wire - Pin 9
3. Red wire - Pin 16
