Exclamation Caddy Racing Lifters?

I have a set of caddy racing lifters on my lt4 with comp pro mag roller rockers. I adjusted them 0 lash and 1 turn. They are extremely noisy and I was wondering if they are all this noisy or is the preload off? I ran these last year and thought they were quieter than what they are.. Any info besides buy new lifters is appreciated. Thanks

I tried 1/4 turn and a 1/2 turn, better at idle, but above 3k gets really noisy.. Gonna cause valvetrain damage or just gonna be noisy?

Listening as my new engine has them but I haven't run it yet, as I recall the Caddy Racing lifters used very little preload like 1/8 turn past zero lash.

I have tried everything from 1/8 turn to 1-1/4 and still noisy. Seems to be just the drivers side.. When its cold its not to bad, but when it warms up, gets alittle loud. My buddy was in his garage and heard them rattling when I pulled in, sounds like a exhaust leak when im driving it..

are you sure the noise is coming from the lifters and not the rockers? ...tho why its louder when warm is pretty confusing

This. Anything like that I've ever heard was the other way around.

its coming from some rockers, but wouldnt that be caused by the lifters?
