sensor near the throttle bodie on the intake tube
what is the sensor in the intake tube that is near the throttle bodie on a 93-95 lt1 if i can find a pic of one i will try and post it or make a link to it so yall can tell me what it is

ok i think i found out what it is.. i think it is a Air Charge Temperature Sensor if i were to have hit this and got some crap on it would it make my car run like crap and make it miss?

Yes that is your IAT sensor, it will not hurt it on a 94-97 car since it will not control timing like a 98-02 LS1 car. I cant remember if the 93's are effected by it not working correct, but anyways just pull it out and clean it off and you will be good to go. About 8-9 years ago when I was a newb I thought it made a difference and I extended the wires to place it down in the filter on my CAI.
It picks up the ambient temps a little better when scanning or tuning but that is it, thought it helped relocating to get away from heat soak but no change in tune that I know of.
I miss those days of boltons, now its bend your wallet over and bring the vasoline to make nice gains
