air conditioner blowing hot air after i swapped to longtubes.

 

did you touch the compressor at all?
fuses good?
didnt leave anything unplugged?

 

its touching the compressor a little.
fuses are good.

 

does the compressor clutch kick in when A/C is on?

 

no the a/c hose is on it and it can move. before the header install it didnt do that.

 

you broke the seals loose so it is basicaly a leak. There is a single bolt in the back of that double line block and 2 ruber type seals that you can get from GM. You will need those and maybe some oil for it if any leaked out. Refill and should be fine. Be sure to clean real good around that block before you open it up or you can kiss the compressor goodby.

 

actually it was the a/c hose. it was up against the compressor keeping it from spinning. bent the hose alittle now its just as cold as before. but thanks for suggestions

 

Might wanna try and keep that header from touching the compressor as eventually with that amount of heat you're going to toast the compressor.

 

the header isn't touching the compressor its touching the hose that comes out of the compressor. i wrapped it up with some heat sheathing.
