Default Building a Strong Combo List

I have the money and ready to pull the trigger just wanting to see what ya think about this combo and if ya have any advice feel free to give it. My goal is to build a strong running street/strip machine that will have plenty of room to grow.

HEADS
21* 185cc Tricklfow Heads
.015 Head Gasket <====to bump up the compression even more. I'm guessing it would put me at 11.5:1 on stock block.
arp head bolts
hardened pushrods
LS7 Lifters
reuse my 1.6 rr
Percy's Seal-4-Good Header Gaskets

INTAKE
LE ported stock intake
58mm TB

CAM
Reusing my ai custom cam 226/236 .574/.577 - 110

MICS.
Dyno tune
New o2's
Not sure on spark plugs either tr55 or tr6
Fuel pump hotwire kit
Possibly 125 shot of nitrous but I'm not sure on this either. I'm not sure what the hp limit is on a stock block.

Are you planning on having the heads ported is the reason you are getting them bare? If not you would be better to just sale your springs and buy a assembled set. The bare ones will require machine work and all the other parts valves ect.... you will spend more money that way.

What kind of machine work do they need? I was thinking I would be saving on the springs sence I already have them.

I could be wrong but I dont think they come with valves, springs and I believe a machine shop has to install valve seats and valve guides. On most bare sets they are just that a bare casting for a machine shop to do all the work to incase you want bigger valves than they offer and to have the head ported and worked more. Hope this helps and if I am wrong someone can step in and correct me.

Ok I think your right. The guides are included but the valve seats have to be machined. Guess I'll take your advice and I'll be selling my springs. Thanks for the heads up almost made a pricey mistake.

Valve Guide Material Bronze
Valve Guides Included Yes
Valve Seat Machine Style 3-angle
Valve Seat Material Ductile iron
Valve Seats Machined No

I want something that has plenty of room to grow. I plan on having this car for a long time and eventully future goals have a 383 w/ ported aftermarket heads. I know this won't give me the most hp right now, but later it will. I figured these heads might not flow as much as the ported AI heads but I'm hoping the bump in compression will compensate. I've talked w/ Elliot and the only reason I'm not getting these ported now is cause he feels like I will have piston to head clearance issues w/ bigger valves on a stock block and its not worth it to me getting these heads ported and puting the trickflow valves back in it.
