Headers and install
Go stainless, all other regular steel headers will rust, coated or not. Kooks, LPP, and many other stainless brand headers, or even cheap ebay stainless headers are better or as good as any over priced Hooker header. Whom ever told you that has a loose definition of best fit, maybe easier install and lower ground clearance, for more money, is what they meant. Any company that makes a tight fitting header will have install issues or prep compromises that have to be done on 3rd and 4th gen F bodys, its just the way it is. Sorry to disagree but Hookers are far from the best header for these cars......., to many other better choices, especially for the price.
