it is a 112+4 544/555 after the 1.6rr and it is open y-pipe. i had to at least install that much due to how much i just spent on the heated O2 conversion. I didnt want to mess them up right off the bat. If it would have been the single wire OEM style i wouldnt have been as worried about it but these are a little more expensive.

I've been pretty impressed with this cam so far from what I've seen. Curious to see what kind of #'s and track times it puts down with an Auto.

well when i do get them i will be sure to post them up. I also have other bolt ons. So it wont just be a cam only dyno.I went ahead and milled the heads .012 the clean them up, 3 angle valve job, as well as installing a set of victor reinz .026 headgaskets. Bumping the compression up a little bit. It also has a modified factory accessory bracket that relocates the alternator down it the OEM location of the ac compressor as well as underdrive pulleys. relieving some drag on the motor, I also have a CSR ewp and a 52mm tb. 30# svo injectors, full msd ignition super comp hooker headers, cutout, and 3" borla. I have a rather large stall as well as gears and bigger tires so my dyno wont be showing very high numbers, in which i am okay with. Im just hoping that it will run worth a ****. It also has, as shown, a full LS intake system on it. I figured since the previous owner updated the front end to a 98+ front end i might as well take advantage of it to the fullest.

I will probably end up throwing a 100-150 shot on it as well. Was kinda worried about it at first since it has 180k miles on it but after looking at the bottom end i saw how well these motors hold up.

P.S. my track times will also hopefully be a lot better than just someone else with this same work done beings all the suspension work that has been done. I have UMI fully adj. rodlink a-arms with QA1 singles 300# afco spings & spring cups in the front w/ 15x3.5. Working back i have a UMI trans brace with the torque arm relocation, UMI fully adj. rodlink torque arm. UMI tunnel brace UMI fully adj. rodlink panhard bar. UMI relocation brackets bolted up to DKT performance aluminum fully adj. rodlink tubular lowers with a UMI drag bar. Also running mickey thompsons on my racelite 15x10's. So im hoping for the best. Also have no name brand subframe connectors and a triangular strut tower brace.

Who knows, with my close to 3000# race weight and everything else i might have an actual need to install a roll cage in there

I have to give a great thank to StealthFormula though for being so willing to help out with my part selections, as well as installation help. Without his help i would have ended up with just a bunch of stuff slapped together with probably minimal gains. I would have ended up throwing in a meanest sounding cam in my car that would have ran like a dog. So thanks again for all you time and helpful/useful information.

As well as anyone else that helped me become more knowledgeable of my car/LT1 during this build. I couldn't have done it without everyone's help.

Damn that sounds pretty wicked. Not to thread jack but how do you think this cam would do in a 383?

Thank you rob. And onebadta, I'm not sure on a 383 considering this would be IMHO a small cam. This is based off of needing good sized heads to feed the exrta cubes of the 383 so you would want a bigger cam to take advantage of the new heads and cubes. Like I said though that's just my opinion.

Looks like I'm going to have to make some block off plates for the borla. When I bought it from a local member he didn't have them. I bolted it all up and it didn't hardly dampen the sound at all if any. I think it just brought the loudness to the back. I love the sound but i dont think the neighborhood nor the cops would like it very much. Especially when I go to have it inspected.
