Default LS1 Swap to 98 3800 camaro??

Just trying to get some opinions, I know there are thousands of threads out there about this swap, but wanted to see what people think... I just bought a 98 Camaro RS with 80k original, and many things were completely replaced.. A brand new 3800 motor was put it, new battery, radiator, plugs, pumps, rear end was rebuilt, transmission was rebuilt as well.. Car is pretty close to excellent condition... so other than the fact that it has 80k on it, its pretty much a new car.... with that being said, the sad part is that I previously had a 92 z28 with a 350 and with only putting 1k on the car i'm already tired of the v6 haha... i was just wondering if it would be worth it to get the ls1 swap done on my car and if there would be a possibly if i could sell all my new parts for close to the same price of what it will cost to get everything swapped... ive looked into doing exhuast/intake/performance chips/headers etc etc on the car to make it better and it seems that all people have to say is that all those bolt ons will never give you the same feeling as a v8 so idk let me know what you all think... thanks alot for all the input!!

truthfully, you would probably be better off selling your car and putting the money down on a ls1 car.

A few years ago I may not have agreed, but really unless your car has a lot of other work done the LS1 cars are so cheap now that it would make a lot more sense to go with a car that already has one.

Sell it and buy a v8. You could buy a lt1 and swap over if you wanted to, it would be alot easier then making a v6 into a v8.
