it's a shame you got to get rid of that SS hood though, looks so damn good with those stripes ya got now...(that's the crown jewel of the SS package, dont ya know?) nevertheless, it will look fantastic with the new hood, I'm sure.

That looks awesome, Tony! I hate the look of that flat black plastic cowl and hate having to squeeze my arms under it even more. I would love to do the same to mine, but I gotta have wipers.

Yours was way narrow too? So was my bolt on regular Sunoco. I took my measurements at 38" up from the back and at that point its around 5/8" narrower than the stock hood. Also had a bigger gap on the driver's side than passenger side while being otherwise aligned. Not a bad piece but definitely not direct fit, at least mine wasn't/isn't. I'm gonna end up having a body guy reglass the edges (fortunately I can get a good deal) and once its back from that I can tell its gonna need some blocking/filling in order to really fit good and look nice.

just finished my sunoco extended install, with the race craft rails....for 93-97 the side rails will work but not the fronts without modifications...plus those dam hoods have a 90deg lip now that runs around the hood wich is a good thing for strength, but you have to trim off the lip or what we did was space the rails out off the fenders 1/2 inch on each side works great..here are a few crappy cell phone pics...cant believe we used 18 dzus's
