You can see the three different eyelets in this picture on the right stud:

One of those grounds is a braded ground strap that bolts to the driver side of the chassis.
I just took the coil off lol

I cant really see, can you take a picture of the grounds if you have the chance? I dont recall seeing a braided ground strap also.

I just tested the coil and got 9.03 so thats 9030ohms, that sound about right for an MSD coil?

If you have to buy a new ground strap just pick up a bbc one off of summit. It's better built and cheap.

I just checked and all my grounds are on the bolt below the head. Right below the cylinder head is a threaded bolt with the ground strap.

I followed it and it looked kinda corroded, it had some green crap on it.

I just replaced the grounds and still the same volt reading from the harness.

Is this coil good? Im stumped here guys. ICM checks out good, Im gonna replace the IAC valve tomorrow (spare one laying around)

Is there anything I missed thats giving the low volt reading to the Opti?

I just checked wire 239 PNK going to the coil and it showed a 12.23v reading, but its showing 4.7v at the harness.

Does that mean my coil is bad?

I am not sure, and I would check with Shbox, but I don't think any of the problems you are trying to trace would give you a DTC 36. AFAIK, only a bad opti or a bad opti harness or other wiring from the opti to the PCM would set that code.

So, your jumping over to test out the ICM harness when the previous advice was to check the opti harness (you would check the opti harness by disconecting it at both ends and use the meter to check continuity of the wires- "ohm it out" as people might say).

People often get confused on the ICM terminal test results, because the wiring diagram does not show the terminals A-B-C-D like they are on the physical plug (they end up putting their meter on the wrong leads).

If you are getting a code 36, it's most always going to be either the opti or the connection to it.
