hardly call 33 years old a young punk ,I have 2 lt ta,s and an ls camaro and have done all the work too all of them myself ,I just didnt know the specs of the 503 or the 1.7,s with the 503 ,so I asked and got this smartass telling me its simple math do it your self ,I guess next time someone asks a ? on this thread I will just tell them its simple mechanics do it your self

Hey snkhuntr, how do you like the hotcam with the 1.7s? Think they are worth the extra $$$ over 1.6s?

I would have to say no , after buying springs, guide plates, hardened pushrods , bigger valve covers and all the work I didnt see any improvement on my et , so about 400 bucks for nothing ,lol , they may do better after my headswap.
