Major Car Trouble
first my car was heating up quickly, the "low fluid" censor kept comin on, so i have a private mechanic who does all my work for me, so he said my fans werent working properly, something to do with relays, so supposedly he fixed this problem..no more over heating...only thing is after he fixed it now my "check engine light" is on......it goes on when i give the car gas, and when im driving and then when i stop at a light and the car is idling the censor goes off....i recently blew a header gasket which was just fixed and car still sounds like crap...i also have a header leak under the car which will be getting fixed shortly
it rained quite hard the other day here and i ended up in some puddles lol, well my alternator gauge fell,my car was bein sluggish and all my censors came on, so today i replaced alternator..every censor went off but the "check engine light"... when i drove home after getting alternator done, i went to turn to the left and my car started to shake/vibrate...which it has never done before tonight......so im at my wits end with this car..everytime i get something fixed, something else goes on it..does anyone know whats wrong with my car? lol or have any suggestions? ive had my car for over 5 years, i know when it sounds normals and when it doesnt..every mechanic here is trying to tell me its fine but i know somethings not right. i havent got codes checked yet, i was hoping the check engine light was gonna go away when the alternator was replaced..o and the new alternator is event charging all they way. please help

btw spark plugs were just done and new temp censor put in, and new rad cap
If the coolant level is low, you’ll get a low coolant light. There’s a specific way to fill the coolant on these cars and done wrong, you’ll have air in the system which may lead to overheating. Excessive overheating may lead to the all too common blown drivers side head gasket that plagues these engines.
You’ll need to scan the computer and see what the check engine light is caused by. It’s telling you something’s wrong.
Driving through water can cause havoc on these cars. The ignition system & distributer is located low and in front of the engine. Water will adversely affect it. Also, there’s several ground points between the engine and body that will cause problems if they’re not proper. Many plugs and connectors exist and water is bad for them.
Good luck!
