OBDI INjector Fault Code Switches

OBDI INjector Fault Code Switches In CATS Tuner, there are 8 switches in the ECM Switch Table for Injector Faults (1-8 or one for each cylinder). Can anyone explain exactly what these are for and what the "X" behavior is? Does "X" mean that the code is enabled or disabled in the PCM?
I got the car somewhat started this weekend for the first time in nearly 10 months. Once it get's into closed loop, it will idle on its own but the #8 primary will start to glow red after just 3-5 minutes at idle. Engine temp is good ~165 deg F, oil pressure is good 55-60 psi, vacuum is good, MAP is between 50-60 KPa. No SES lights, no codes thrown in Datamaster. I'm wondering if I have bad injector wires or a bad pigtail on #8 and if so, will enabling the switches I mentioned above indicate an injector issue?
