Default Finishing up 383 A1 21*Build

So i have been piecing together this build for quite a while now as i get extra money. Its a forged 3.75 eagle crank 6 in h beam rods Mahle coated forged -15cc pistons .02 deck height splayed 4 bolt mains, EFI Connection LS1 computerconversion, The First set of AI 21*TFS Heads custom AI cam Comp 1.6 rollerrockers,AI ported intake and every piece of suspension you can get from UMI . And efi live to tune with.

I still need lifters, an oil pan, oil pump, electric water pump, 4.10x.029 thick head gaskets, injectors, and double row time chain, and 3200 stall converter and motor mounts Any suggestions on theese parts. I heard the comp lifters arent very good and to get gm ls1 injectord but i cant find them. i should have got them from ai but couldnt aford at the time i got the rest from them.

These are what I would rec./ going to use myself. Again this is just my own personal opinion.

Lifters: GM LS7 lifters

Oil Pan/Pump: Moroso pan and the pump/pick up they rec. I've heard of alot of probs with the Canton pan.

EWP: any of them work...i believe the summit one is just a CSR with their name on it....someone correct me if im wrong.

Head Gasket: GM Impala gasket will for just fine

Injectors: 42lb/hr Racetronix flow matched or theres some cheaper rebuilt ones w/ a warranty on ebay...should work just fine as well

Timing set: any SBC generic double roller...i think Comp makes one for like $40 i think

Stall: dunno as I always had an T56

Motor Mounts: Poly Energy Suspension

Hope this helps a little...

Ask AI, and see what they recommend. Then, they would set you up, for the rest of your setup.

Sounds like a stout setup though

Lifters: GM LS7 lifters

Oil Pan/Pump: Keep the stock one if you can, run the melling 10554

EWP: Which ever one you want to spend money on will suffice

Head Gasket: are you N/A or not, this will determine you gasket as well as what compression do you want

Injectors: 42lbers there are a couple on sale on this site

Timing set: cloyes double roller and install a elec. water pump

Stall: probably a 4k but Idk the rest of your setup, gear and all

Motor Mounts: if yours are good keep em if not then energy suspension or comparable

Most is well covered already.
Look at Edge racing converters, Andre has always done well by me. If it can get a couple tons of Caprice to do low 1.5s with 3800 stall 4.10s and 28"ET drags imagine what it can do for your setup.

I too have an AI setup but not a stroker, is the 200cc heads and probably a smaller cam for my smaller engine.

That was 150miles from home and 4155lbs think it was a 1.58 short time. Colder weather and a set of narrower/lighter street tires on front netted 1.53s on several different days.

For motor mounts I am just using replacement rubber mounts I put in around 180K miles, stockers were actually decent but I know I am pounding the hell out of parts like that so I replaced them when I had the front suspension apart.

If you get ahold of Ron or Phil I bet they can set you up with the right lifter, injectors, probably gaskets too

For lifters I'd look at Morel.

Why such piston volume?
