backfire through cold air intake

when at wot it backfired through the intake between 4500 and redline what could cause this ? only mods are exhaust and cold air intake

Are there any leaks in the cold air intake after the MAF? Unmetered air going into the engine will cause a lean condition which will cause a pop through the intake like that. Id start there.

nope i just put the intake on yesterday and rechecked it agan and made sure everthing is right and tight. any body else help with this only does it at wot in the upper rpms
