Mike my friend Tom (Camnhawk) had the first all motor LS1 in the eights and he was running a Neil Chance converter for what it's worth.

Shifter showed up already, and Jegs is finally giving out free hats again lol.

So do all LT1s use the small hole pattern flex plates?? Just to be sure its the 153 tooth flex plate I need?

That flexplate is for internal balance. AFAIK the LT1 rotating assembly is external balance. Do the converters have the counter weight then?

I do not remember any weight on my flywheel and I know the motor was internally balanced. you could see where they added/took out weight on the crank

Alright guys Im bringing this back up. T56 is out of the car and the Th350 is about ready to bolt in. I was about to got tot the track last night after fixing my busted yoke and noticed that trans fluid was leaking out the rear. Pulled the seal and found the bushing was also damaged. So I said **** it if I have to take of the tail housing I might as well do the trans swap. lol.
Ive had everything sitting around for a while now so figured why not.

Oh Stock flex plate and bell housing bolts will work just fine and I ended up with a 4500+ BTE converter after seeing some cars work really really good with them.

Will do. I was going to finish it yesterday but ended up at the track for King of the Streets. Nothing like watching 7 sec cars get down with NO prep in 40 degree weather. Crazy part is the cars hooked like crazy.
