need help with pcm communication error!!!!

Thanks! i was looking back at what he posted and it looks like #9 on the plug goes straight to the PCM for data...so if we check it for opens and shorts and it checks out good then it narrows it to the PCM...correct? just not sure what pin to check on the PCM plug?

Should be, you can use an ohm meter and ohm out the wire from the ALDL port to the harness, again, I can tell you later, I know the hots were like RED 18 & 22, I think the data blue 1 ect, I don't want to give you the wrong info now..

Thanks Moe!! I had my PCM tested at a local speed shop and they could connect to it and upload and remove the tune. So thank goodness it's NOT my pcm! I will test those wires and hopefully find it.

Do I need to test all 6 or just the Data Link wire?
