Default Rear end help needed

Well my rear end in my camaro is now trash!!! Its broke... I have a friend with a Ls1 camaro rear end with 3.42's in the rear for 150$ What is diff??? I know brakes are different. But what else do i have to change??? Or is it worth the hassel? Any help would be great

well itd be worth it to have a rear back in your car! but you wont have ABS... and the brakes are different.. idk what would be needed to hook them up tho...

Well if i switch the brakes and rotors and and maybe the axles??? and the could I use my abs sensor in the rearend??? I just dont know thats why i came to you guys

lol
ls1 cars have 4 channel abs so the axles have the reluctor rings on them. youd have to change the carrier to a 3 channel carrier

ABS = Anti lock Brakes. Do you drive in the winter? That's about the only time I would ever use my abs...

i ditched my abs a long time ago. pedal is much better, easier access in the engine bay too. Can't drive this thing in the winter anyway.

If the LS1 rear has 3 channel ABS (no traction control), then it will swap right in (LS1 brakes and all). You will need the the e-brake cables from the LS1 car. ABS will work.

^^^^He's right. Basically a ten bolt is a ten bolt is a ten bolt, with a few details aside. So yes you should get it.
