When cruising, whether at 50km/h on the street, or 90km/h on the highway, when I stomp on the throttle, WOT, or just under WOT, my car seems to hesitate a little, and won't pull very hard.

If I accellerate more smoothly, take two seconds or so to hit WOT, I don't have this problem. The engine runs smooth, and pulls hard.

The car idles fine, has a new opti, and relatively new plugs/wires. Temps/etc. are normal while I'm performing these tests, so I'm a little stumped as to what it could be.

I've also noticed if I'm in the driveway (hood up) and I bump the throttle, there's almost a slight hesitation before the engine really gets going. But again, if I hit the throttle slower, no hesitation...

Any thoughts on what would cause this hesitation at WOT?
