It's been a while.......
Well here we go with my year long project..... New 396 forged motor, perfomabuilt trans, midwest fabbed 9" rear tons of other stuff.......
Anyhow, about two months ago I got a call from the workshop that my car is ready, so I rush down to pay for the work. Car is running terrible, but hey, it needs a tune....
I get the car transported to the alignment shop for a four wheel job, the guy there rings me to say it's running like a bag of cr*p, but it's ready to go. So I go down to pay him and get the car transported to the dyno/tuners shop.
Once there the dyno shop rings me and say, get down here quick!
To cut a long story short, the engine bay is still smoldering away, thanks to the wiring loom, plug wires and anything else, that is either wrapped around the hedders or touching them, and there is a puddle of engine & trans oil on the ground.
Yep! a right f*cked up job.
I get down to the first shop to complain and get my money back, and get told "it wasn't like that when it left here"............
So where am I now?
All my goodies taken off the car to be done properly, back to square one!
This was six weeks ago, and my car is nearly complete (fingers crossed), I may even get to drive it this summer.
On a plus, this shop was working on two LS1's (TA & Formula) and the car owners gave this shop the thumbs up...
Rant over guys...
Maybe soon some good news and pics............

Are they a reputable shop? Try telling them that your gonna call the bbb on them and everything you can do in your power. Even see if they can give some of the money back. Yea i would never pay cash for something thats over like 100 dollars. Just in case someone is out to screw me that day.
They were recommended to me, reputable as far as I can throw a battleship...
Tried everything, they specialise in German performance cars (Merc, porsche, BMW). Over here in the UK, it's hard to find anyone to work on Real Cars... I thought I would be in with a chance with them, but lost my bet.......
I'm following your advice from now on buddy
