Pull the sensor out and clean it if its dirty, sometimes that solve the issue. If not most likely a bad sensor. By having the light on it wont effect the way you car runs or even log a code. It's just a warning light on your dash.

It is not unusual for the light to come on for a day or two after a drain and refill. Even the factory manual notes this. It may settle down after a few (or it may not). Like has already been suggested, cleaning it might help.

The low coolant level sensor is a PITA, and always has been. If it's dirty, or if you have an air bubble that passed by it, it will trip it. I replaced mine with one from Advance Auto Parts, it was readily available, cheap, and after normal dealership parts counter hours. DON'T make the same mistake I did.
It worked for about a week, then ALWAYS came on no matter what I did. I went to the dealer and got an OEM part, it's worked great ever since.

i left my car running last night to make sure it didnt have no leaks and stuff and it was running fine and idling fine then all of a sudden it just cut out of no where..! i tried restarting it and nothing.. It just cranks over but doesnt start!.. Im thinkin it could be my old optima battery because its not around the 14v level.. its under around 12ish.. the battery is about 4 years old,,, o maybe my alternator but i doubt it cause its cranking over.. ..
