After sold all my sport car and going with suv, after few month, Im bore as hell, sold the suv and start hunt for another camaro, it been 3 month since I hunt it, finally pick up one at new orlean 3 hours away, I came today and pick she up, its a 1997 camaro z28 m6 ( my first ever m6 , kinda nervous when I put on 5th gear, i scare I hit revert ,), I drove she home and my brother drove a bmw playing around with me on highway, i beat him every time. my brother and I start driving at 5 and just got back at 12. Im tired now, pix will be up tomorrow after wash . It felt good to be back to 4th gen camaro again.

btw car had tune with hyper program, and it running 170 degree all time. car run strong and good. I igot she for $3300 and 113k miles. I havent name her yet lol.

btw my camaro came with manual roll up window, no power window, is this normal ? i never seen it before, but I alway want a manual roll up window , since my last camaro window motor keep burn out every few month. I want to make sure if this stock. som preview owner did the mod himself.

 

Might be a 1LE car? Check your glove box or door for that RPO code....

Also for 5th, don't be worried as the cars have a reverse lockout, unless it's broke it will never go into reverse while moving.

 

That's funny about worrying about shifting into reverse accidentally. I drove a V6 M5 Camaro for almost ten years so I sometimes forget and get clumsy with my current M6.

 

I drove alot today, I mean alot, i put full gas tank and drove around almost every where around my town, getting in 5th i dont know how many time, im very confident not hit revert while shift to 5th gear. so that feeling is out the window today. the way I felt is just shift to 5th gear like any other 5 speed car, and when you want go revert just shift to 5th gear but try to put further left and up. btw I end up burn more then haft tank of gas lol for driving around today.
