I was wondering what the stock compression should be on a lt1 iv looked and all iv found is that if its below 100psi you have a problem I figured with the 10.5-1 compression it would be over 200psi anyway my results were 160-170 on all of my cylinders for the dry test and around 175-180 for the wet test is this to low or is it alright?

 

Depends on the cam run. Your readings seem like they are in the ballpark of a normal stock LT1. Rule of thumb is that all cylinders be w/in 10% of the highest reading.

 

yea that seems about right for a stock motor espically if they are all the same.....170-180 seems right my 13.9:1 motor had 235 so it seems logical.....
