cam ???

ok i have a 96 trans am ws6 automatic im wanting to put a cc503 cam in it well have it put in so what all do i need to get besides the cam ? do i need to get lifters and pushrods and ? i dunno what all i need can you guys help me?

I would install new lifters with a new cam.Comp will void the warranty on there cam if used with old lifters.

do it right the first time is what i have recently learned. i would do springs lifters and rods and maybe injectors nto sure about that though

its a decent cam, i would go a little deeper then a cam if im tearing into the car you know?

Not everyone has endless amounts of $$$...

Larger injectors are not mandatory for a 503. You'll be fine with reusing the stock ones.

assuming you got a cai,headers, exhaust, and stall. I would get new timing chain, lifters, spring, and harden pushrods. Also your gona need a mail order tune atleast.

The only thing you NEED is springs and the necessary hardware for them.
You'll also probably want to do a timing set too.

Everything else is recommended and usual upgrades done while in there.

A cam that size would definitely need a stall of some kind, or you will hate driving it.. I would at least get some roller rockers,push rods, and valve springs..
