Haha, that is totally funny. I got a 2 car garage and it still to full of parts. Just goes to prove, even when you have the room for something, you always have ways of filling it up.

merv less crank windage..its an old grumpy jenkins trick that is still used by super stock and stock eliminator guys..ive heard of as low as 2qts of oil in a pan.

she will do low 11s high 10s on motor at that weight..9s on the juice..like i said this motor is just junk slapt together..the turbo motor will be a diff animal..car will then run 4.90s or so in the 1/8th.

Setup looks sexy! Starting to motivate me to start aquiring parts! How are you going about getting the intake mounted to the heads? Drilling the heads or intake?

lol it all is till your on the track..and then once your off it and back at home on your pc its bench racing still..

if you dont think a 470hp engine will push a 2900# car with driver in the low 11s an 10s then you need to open your eyes.

dont forget the lt1 bolt on record is 11.48 an that was stock long block with just rockers at 3100#s...tom dynoed around 310rwhp with that deal.

**** look at gizmo's car not as much hp as ill make and runs 11.0s i think..also is heavier.

Get the sucker to hook and you should be there! Im trying pretty much the same thing on my 94. Figure weight reduction+cam+nos+stall+gears+drag radials should get me in the 10s

How are you going to make 200+ hp with a carb intake and a cam on a STOCK LT1 with 1 point more compression?I know that Gizmo's car wasn't built with junk parts and without alot of testing .

lt1 is rated at 275hp from factory..we all know they make more then that though seeing you have stock lt1 a4 cars putting down 220-235 rwhp an 275 rwhp with just headers (dyno page up top shows this) theres also camed, full bolt on m6's in there laying 350-380hp.

So with that being said ill have
better oil pan vs a stock one( i know you know how much a oil pan means on a motor)
1 pt more compression
bigger cam then stock, but not to much..it is lil bigger then i would run if i was just n/a
true roller rockers.
open headers pretty much the schielfield 3x6 muffs aint much trust me.
less restrictive intake with better port lay out
Race gas
No accessories but the alt an even then i may just go to a 16 volt deal.

as for gizmo's car im talking about the build he did with the kids went them numbers..7.05 and 11.0s..i can link that thread in here if you want..there using stock cam,oil restricters in the valley to stop cam windage, stock pan,ls7 lifters, roller rockers an are running a f.a.s.t deal with no accessories also..other then that i believe there around 10.8-1 comp..there using a impala gasket.an i think the car is 3100#s..i cant remember if there on race gas or 93 though..more then likely race.

cant wait for dyno results. someone make this **** a sticky so every lt1 owner is out runing 10's. a singe plane, roller rockers, mild hyd roller cam, race gas, and no accesories and yout stock headed lt1 is on its way to 470+ rwhp
