Alright, I've removed the front swaybar, and installed a AIR LIFT bag. I've ran the back at 15 and 20 psi. I still havent touched my 60ft time of a 1.61 (with the front swaybar and no bag) Ive ran 1.62 and 1.63. Maybe im adjusting the bag wrong?

The converter likes to be loaded before the launch (2200-2500rpm) When I flash the converter off idle it 60's are around 1.7-1.9 I usually do have more spin this way, but hardly anymore then what I have when its loaded.

Any tips or tricks on this would be helpful.

Those tires are excellent. I ran those last year now I run the 27" version. Bring a small compressor with you. Don't be afraid to run them lower than 15 without tubes. Run them down at 12 or so and see what happens. Do your burnout going from 1st to 2nd. Hold 2nd at 4500rpm until you can see smoke then just let off the brake and do a 15foot burnout. That will burn through any water your front tires may have carried up. DO NOT do a dry hop. The tires will bite the best right after the burnout. Just barely light the stage bulb. This will give you the most rollout and the quickest ET.

What was the difference in ET when you flashed the converter off of idle and when youloaded the converter?

around a tenth. When I ran the Tires around 12 it seemed to spin a little worse, and I moved the tires on the wheel about an inch.

I will try that next time at the race track.

Good idea on marking them to see if they spin! You can screw them to stop them from spinning.

I went to the track last night and got a new best. The air was good DA was 2200. 65 degrees.

1.59 69ft
4.7 330 ft
7.33 1/8th @ 93.6

Only change this time was I removed my catback. It had a couple crimp bends in it and I felt it was restricting the engine, Its tough to know without a back to back test, but I feel that .1 tenth gain and 1.5 mph gain it was hurting me some, Ill invest in a cutout to put right after the Y.

On another note When I hung the rearend to take the catback off I mustve dont something to my pinion angle. I pulled mid 1.6's all night and was just blowing the tires off of it doing it. I ran them at 13psi with 9 psi in the drag bag to hit the 1.59, then right after that it put down a 1.601.

When the car launches it weight transfers to the back then it feels like the back lifts up and slams the front which then unloads the back tires (all of this in the first 60ft) what can I do to help this?

Sounds like the shocks have a ton of rebound in them or the tires are bouncing or something.

They are the same ones I had on the car last year, but I think that the old motor didnt have the power to break them loose with these tires. Where the new one does. Looks like a new set of drag shocks is on the list.

The ones im running are stock replacement monroe sensatracs..
