Default quest for 12.99

ran my car again friday pulled off a 13.58 @ 101.77 my question is with my current 1.98 60 foot if i upgrade to a circle d 3 c and 3.73 gears would that be enough to get me a 12.99 time slip if not what other easy bolt ons could i do to guarantee it.

Going from stock TC to 3000 stall? With drag radials or slicks, yes.

Depending on your DA the addition of 3.73s with more converter should definately put you in the 12s....
I did not see 1.6rr in your sig and that will help attain your goal aswell. Qa1s up front, remove front swaybar, air bag in rear spring, mild weight reduction,SLP lid conversion............Mid to Lo 12s easy

I would recommend the Yank SS3600 and some BFG'S. You should be in the 12's regardless.

you'll get close. Your mph isnt showing 12sec potential. too low. you need a few more mph to get 12's

those trap speeds were on high 90 degree humid days im thinking in the fall/winter air it will go up a few mph but not much. I dont have 1.6rr i was going to wait till i did heads/cam setup. Thinking of a le 223/230 cam and le2 heads i still have emissions in my county. Im od1 so i have to go on the sniffer test. thats why i have asm headers instead of lt's

You will definitely need more trap speed. WAY better weather is certainly needed.

I had a 3200 stall with 3.42s/LPPs and I ran 13.1@102.6 in 1700 DA

A zero DA day and that would have been 12s, but it wasn't.

Get 3.73s or 4.10s and a 3600 stall and you'll hit 12s no prob. But the higher you go it gets less desirable to drive on the street.

(I'm going to run a 4k stall and 4.10s on the street)

I would go ahead and upgrade to the Circle D 4c. If you can hook up and get a 1.6 short time I think you would definately be in the 12's. I'm not sure if the nittos will do it though..

should i be traping higher then 102 with the mods in my signature? I was always told my car traps low even when it was stock. The car has 180k but runs great had a complete full tune up about 15k ago pulled the ngk plugs out when i did the headers looked great. consumes no oil and doesnt smoke, it has no codes. what do bolt on a4's normally trap at i guess im giving up a mph by not having longtubes.

get your sixty foot down some and add the gears and add 1.6 rockers and you should be there.

how far are u spinning the motor to? high 12's/mid 12's are doable on stock rockers. the lil things help too (air foil ect ect) stall, gears u should break high 12's in a good da. your 60ft time will be a factor 12.9x i see though in decent air. a local here with just longtubes, ory, bullets, 4:11's (t56 car), cai, tune, m/t et streets and full weight. dipped 12.60's (if i recall) last fall.
