part number for auto shifter cable
part number for auto shifter cable even though i disconnected my tranny the shifter cable still got hung up when i pulled the motor. i went to every parts store in town and they said they couldn't get one.
i tried looking it up on partstaxi web page but couldn't find it. im gona call the dealer in the morning to try and get one but i want a part number so i know im getting the right part.
the damn car has been down for almost 2 months and one part im waiting on will be here tomorrow and now i just need the damn shifter cable.

Just ordered mine from the dealer after breaking it the same way. It is called a "Range selector cable" believe it or not. You can get it off Amazon also. You have to order the new lever (about $10) because the cable was updated from the original.

forgot to say 95. but im fairly confident that all the 93-96 years shared the same cable. 97 might have been different.
im even pretty sure the 3.4 used the same cable the 3.8 might to but not 100% on that one.

For reference all 93-02 f-body cables are the same p/n.
