any purolator is good
i only run mobile clean 500 it has the rating of a full synth but its not. is cheap and i get it for $11 a gallon at wal mart
i would never go 10k on a oil change. i will never run fram garbage on any of my cars again. i ran a ph8 on my 5.0 mustang and had oil pressures issues. put a motor craft on it and had like 50psi oil pressure instead of 10psi with fram. not just once but everytime i used a fram i had low pressure!

i lost faith in fram when they moved production to mexico. i started seeing posts over on the jalopyjournal forum multiple pictures of collapsed frams kept showing up.. i did notice fram started using plastic parts in thier oil filters..
i like wix and acdelco and k&n (k&n is expensive though).. use mopar filters on my dodge.
i would like to know a part number for the wix truck filter, the filter would come almost to the bottom of the pan.. holds a full quart of oil maybe more, i use to run them on gen1 smallblocks, but i dont have the wix part# anymore... pretty sure it was a commercial/industrial filter..
to add, i have also experienced fram fuel filters coming apart on the inside 2 seperate times, i've quit using them also..

I've always used a purolater oil filter on my camaro ever since i've owned it since 2002. Running castrol 10W-40 here. I always stock up on oil at pep boys when the cases go on sale.

These filters are Frams, Purolators, or Wixes. Mopar does not manufacture it's own filters, nor do they require anything special from these manufacturers. Since they basically paint them a different color, stamp them with a Mopar logo, and double the price, there is no reason to buy them. Sadly, the Mopar Severe Duty 53020311 filter is actually the worst filter of them all. It is a Fram Extra Guard.
how does this person know this? does he work at dodge, fram, allied signal, wix, purolator, motorcraft, ford, gm?
i can also go to ten other sites that says their wix, and 10 other sites that say they're purolators..
my mopar filters dont have anything on them about allied signal..nothing on the box either..i bought 4 filters at the same time at walmart because they were on sale for like $3.50 each..
they do have made in the usa and also chrysler llc printed on both the box and filter itself.. they look like a wix filter to me.
after i actually took some time and did some searching and reading, the part number is a wix oil filter..
