I have a 97 t/a CAI, new MAF,PLUGS,MAP,Fuel Filter, the car has no codes but it is a turd. The best time i got out of the car was a 14.75 out of 5 runs. Is this normal for a A4 car?? i was thinking it would get atleast a high 13.

Depends, if its a A4 with 2.73 gears, its never gonna see a 14.0-14.3 pass stock, maybe a 14.5-14.7.. If you have the 3.23 gears maybe see a 14.1-14.3 stock. I seen a few stockers go 14.1-14.3 area, but not too many and thats with 3.23 gears. Just from my experience, mine with cold and exhaust went a 14.0 consistently with stock 3.23 gears.

thank the jesus's someone is slower then me!
j/k dude, Sucks your times are like that, i know how it feels!!
like the rest of the people said. give us a 60' time, and elevation. If you need to figure out DA (density altitude), Drag times has a calculator with almost every track out there.

Do yourself a favor and dont listen to this guy. If you are running anything over 14.2 bone stock, either you need to learn how to drive, stop drag racing up with airplanes or there is something really wrong with your car. 14.5 or 14.7 in a stock TPI maybe.

DA,barometric pressure, humidity all play a huge factor in your ET, i really hate these threads cause you always get someone that runs 12s at sea-level and the same mods on another car runs 13s and it turns into "your car is messed up,who tuned it,you cant drive etc.....
Find out your tracks elevation, the DA at the time you ran and you will see the difference!
OP depending on your location these times are normal, dont get discouraged by previous statements.

Thats what my 97z A4 2.73s ran when it was bone stock. In the 1/4 it did not shift to 3rd till I was thru the traps,so don't be discouraged..Time to look into some mods.

Everyone is so quick to point out what "could" be wrong with his car. The OP is from Muscogee, Oklahoma which is 611 feet above sea level and it's been in the mid 90's to near 100 for the past few weeks.
I plugged in a scenario based on your elevation, 90 degree temp with 80% humidity, and I gave you a mph of 96 because you didn't post what it was. I corrected it to sea level at 60 degrees with 60 percent humidity and it gave you a 14.25 at 99.36

They wern't giving out time slips and my gf didnt look at the 60 time. I dont think its a 2.73 gear. 1st gear 40ish 2nd 75-80 3rd 125ish. I would guess 3.23. This was in tulsa ok on a 90 degree night and the car wasnt spinning at all. I also let the car sit and cool off to about 140 between each pass. I was very diapointed at how slow it was. I had a edelbrock headed small block that had a FUBAR holly and ran a 13.90 on 2.73's. I got a vid of the track night i will get it up on youtube and post a link.
14.75 @ 98 I think.

Times will differ but definetly a A4 with a 2.73 is going to be a turd. The DA and 60' will tell us what we need to know weather its the car, driver, or altitude killing your time. First time to the track this year i ran a best of 14.7 on street tires (M6, intake, catback, and 4.10s) with zero traction my 60's were 2.2s to 2.4s and trapping at 93-97. Just couldnt get any traction till 4th gear and well the race was over.

His times look right on to me. The mph would indicate if there was a hp issue but right around a hundred is good. My car started out as an a4 2.73 running mid 14s at 99.
