backordered parts...
They shouldn't charge the customer for something they don't even have in stock to sell. What if they never get it?! What if they go out of business? What if the manuf. never ships them out? It's bad/tacky business to do it backwards.
I still won't release the company name as I don't thinks it's right to do so at this point.
Why is another company that I asked about the parts saying they are drop shipped from the manufacturer and the manufacturer has them IN STOCK ready to drop ship?!!?!?
Cancelled order here I come.
Now if the manufacturer indeed does have the parts in stock you are getting screwed.

The vast majority of other vendors shuffle parts as drop shippers and its a mess. I used to drop ship years ago and companies would say "XYZ is in stock!" Send the money and suddenly its "backordered." Then do you keep their money and wait, or cancel the order?
If you're strapped you keep the order and pray. Its just how it is. So for as much as fleebay sucks, its great for IN STOCK deals.
My two cents.
Now if the manufacturer indeed does have the parts in stock you are getting screwed.
Which is why I don't order from small shops that don't stock the parts.
